Want to know a cool, free place to visit in Atlanta? The Federal Reserve. One of 12 federal reserves across the country, it has a free museum with lots of interactive displays and a great viewing area to watch robots moving money within the facility. The robot carts that carried cubes filled with bills were named after the person on the bill, such as Abe for the $5, George for the $1, Alex for the $10, and Andy for the $20. I loved it! I never had to take an Economics class for my degree, so a lot of the info throughout the museum was new to me.
The building and grounds are really beautiful.
We had to lock up our camera and phones in a locker before going into the museum, so we don't have any pictures of the inside. We had a great time though, so I'd recommend going to check it out!
We also recently went to our second Braves game! We went with our friend Cory before he headed back to Utah for school. It was super humid that night, so don't judge my sweaty face :) haha
Were the robots like Walle!!? And ug, humidity! I'm glad to be back in Utah:)
ReplyDeleteThey kind of looked like that! Except they loaded the cubes in the back instead of scooping them up in the front :)
