Our new place!

Wow...it takes a lot to move! I have no recollection of moving (because the only times my family moved were when I was under the age of 4) besides moving to a dorm/apartment for college. However, those college moves were just across town so I could take as many trips in my little car as were necessary to bring all my stuff to the new location. THIS move, was a whole new animal. We packed up everything in a Penske truck and drove across the country. We stopped in Nebraska the first night, stopped in Liberty Jail in Missouri the next day, and stayed the night in Tennessee. We arrived in Georgia and stayed with Chad and Hillery Harris and fam!




Keslie kindly gave up her room to us for the week we stayed there while we apartment hunted. We found one and went to the ward to check it out. When we went, a member of the ward said he and his family had an empty basement they wanted to rent out. After looking it over, we loved it and changed plans. We're working on all the moving IN stuff now.




We are having fun here. Funny story...I went on a jog. My plan was to go a mile or two. I ended up jogging/walking around the entire housing development which turned out to be 4 miles there, and 4 miles back to the house. Completely unplanned. Did you know it's poor judgment to assume that a road will loop around? I learned that this week.
