What the winter?

This is undoubtedly the craziest start of semester I have ever had.  3 days, and I haven't been to school.  Tomorrow is canceled as well, with a late start planned on Friday.  Nursing school is party!  Instead of going to school, they just assign more reading.  I have read SO much.  It's kind of tough to do reading for a class when you haven't been to it, met the teachers, or been able to ask questions.  However, the reading is all very interesting.  I am learning how to use their version of Blackboard, which is called Georgia Vista.  It is very similar, so that is convenient.  One of my courses is completely online, and she requires discussions and assignments to be posted several days each week.  But because half of the class doesn't have the book yet due to the snow, she changed our due dates until the weekend.  So I will have 1 day of school on Friday, which will be 2 hours shorter than normal, and then Monday is a school holiday!

Staying at home does have its perks.  We have played 2 worlds of Mario Galaxy 2 on our Wii, built an awesome looking snowman, slept in, made brownies, organized some stuff, and watched Anne of Green Gables!

Tomorrow morning is supposed to be freezing, so we'll see what happens for Matt.  KSU is closed, so I have another day at home to read, and get ahead for next week's assignments.  Wahoo!
