We have be waiting and waiting for Christmas vacation to come. We were able to travel to Utah to visit our families and celebrate Christmas. Here are some brief highlights.
~Kneader's French Toast (mmmmmm....)
~I-15 being a mess
~BYU basketball game with Heather, Chris and Madison, and Jonathan (Go Jimmer!)
~Dodge Christmas party
~Christmas Eve dinner and festivities with the Harris family (the box game)
~Christmas day at Harris and Shumway homes (presents, games, food, and being with family)
~Church at Meagan's home ward and the MTC
~Playing Ticket to Ride with the Shumways
~Stomach flu (NOT FUN)
~Meagan visiting with Amy
~Game night with everyone at Grandpa and Grandma Eliason's house
~SNOW!
~Going to the Mt. Timpanogas temple
~BYU Museum of Art- Carl Bloch exhibit (complete with ipads)
~Pushing cars up icy hills
~Seeing TRON with the Harris's
~New Year's Eve games
~College Football (especially FSU and TCU)
The best part was just being with family. It is amazing how fast time goes by. We have been in Georgia for about 7 1/2 months. It felt like it had been forever since we had seen everyone in our families, but once we were there it felt like we had never left. We are so grateful to have been able to spend time with people we love. It was hard to come back. Although we are perfectly ok with the weather being 50 degrees.
We played Ticket to Ride with my family like 6 times over the break! Such a great game. And I wanted to see that Carl Bloch exhibit so bad, was it wonderful?
