Beach

Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Last week we headed out for a few days at the beach in Florida.  Matt's brother's family was going down for their Spring Break and invited us to come along.  Matt's parents came out from Utah as well.  We had a great time!

The beach house was so cute, and on stepping out the front door, we could see the flags on the beach showing what the water conditions were.

All the houses on our street had names. Ours was called "By the Sea."

We had nice lazy mornings, sleeping in a bit, playing with the kids, watching Kung Fu Panda (my first time seeing it.  Loved it!), and taking walks outside.  Then we spent all day at the beach, swimming, building sand castles, playing football and frisbee, and just relaxing.  This was my first experience at a beach in Florida.  The water was really pretty, and the sand was so soft.

One night, we spent some time catching crabs on the beach with buckets, nets, and flashlights.  Matt really enjoyed himself.  As we caught them and put them in the bucket, I could almost here them saying "Heeyy, Heeyyy" like in Finding Nemo.

On our last night we went to dinner at a seafood place.  It was delicious!  The kids got little buckets and shovels with their meals, and Chad and Hillery got some cool looking and delicious tasting crab.

We had a great time!!!
