It's FALL!

You know it's fall when everyone starts wearing their college gear everyday!  Football season in South is crazy.  Other than when I lived in Eugene and Corvallis, OR, I haven't seen a group of people so excited about their team.  Also, very willing to give up their whole day to tailgating.

Matt and I went down to Tallahassee to watch the BYU vs Florida State game a couple weeks ago.  It was a very quick trip, but we had a great time.  Even though it's just one state over, I discovered new things, like dry hanging moss on ALL the trees, and lovebugs that must be multiplying by the millions.  We met up with Chris and Madison who had come out from Utah, and Chad and Hillery and their kids came down from Atlanta too.

We had a visit from Allison and Thomas Allen and their 2 kids.  They had come out to visit Thomas' parents in Kennesaw, which is very close to us.  We were able to have dinner together. It was great to see them.

On September 25, we celebrated our one year anniversary!!!!

I had to work that morning, but when I came home Matt had bought me some white gerbera daisies, which are my favorite flowers and what my bouquet was made of.  We watched an old movie with Cary Grant that I'd been wanting him to watch, and then we went to a very fancy Thai restaurant.  He also gave me photo album with pictures from main events during our first year.  He is so wonderful.  I am lucky to have him.

Now that it isn't as hot, we have been playing more tennis and doing more outside.  We went to a cornmaze this weekend at a local farm.  Phase one was a breeze, but phase two had us going in circles.  There were signs throughout the maze that had questions to help you choose left or right.  Each sign had a farm question, a biblical question, and then a random question.  Thank goodness we know the bible!! Otherwise we would have taken a lot longer to get through it.

The picture above is of the giant "jumping pillow."  It was awesome.  We were the only people over the age of 15 on it, but we loved it.

I could definitely get used to the fall weather here.  I hope it stays like this for a while so we can explore a few more places.
